Motionball is a national non-profit organization that raises awareness and funds for the Special Olympics. They empower young Canadians to get involved through integrated social and sporting events.
This year’s gala event on February 7th saw 2,500 guests at Toronto’s Liberty Grand enjoying dinner, cocktails and seven live entertainment acts across three rooms. As the host venue for the past six years, Liberty Grand is a passionate sponsor of Motionball. The event also had 100 volunteers and 40 Special Olympic Ontario athletes in attendance. It was a celebration of sport and inclusion, one that helped some 47,000 athletes living with an intellectual disability take advantage of the programs offered by the Special Olympics provincial programs.
