The internationally recognized fashion label RVNG (rvng.ca) presented the Bisous Collection virtually at NYFW.com. Everything about the show was pure magic. Set in a forest that looked nothing short of a fairy tale, models graced the natural runway to the music of Canadian songstress Deborah Cox.
This collection of 40 luxurious ready-to-wear garments and gowns showcased Jordan Stewart’s attention to detail and the architectural complexity in her creations. With a mix of bold colours, pastels and dreamy whites, RVNG Couture has set the tone for what’s to come. We are ready for some true fashion and glamour.
Jordan Stewart has once again proved she can go beyond our imagination with this collection of dream-worthy gowns that clearly show her passion in each piece. Her artisanal process of creating each gown pro- duces exceptional luxury, not only in the look but feel and wearability of her pieces.
The final gown of the show, The Suzanne, was named after philanthropist Suzanne Rogers. It took Stewart more than 150 hours to create with exquisite details and craftsmanship throughout the body if the dress and an extravagant train more than eight feet long.
The Bisous Collection is truly magical and inspires one to enjoy fashion again. The runway presentation can be viewed at NYFW.com.
“Being a New York Fashion Week designer and taking part in one of the world’s largest fashion stages is one of the greatest honours one can have. This collection was inspired by my imagining of what’s next in fashion post-pandemic. I played with bold colours and styles. The stage was set in a scenic outdoor forest, inspired by my hometown roots. Conceptually, fashion in nature became en- twined in an enchant- ed forest (Cranberry Creek). Additionally, the models’ footwear was representative of vining and most of our looks were topped with beautiful jewels of butterflies and fireflies pulling the looks into union.” – Jordan Stewart Fashion Designer & Founder of RVNG Couture
